Loads of calls from different numbers beginning with 0774 and 0744 popped up, all linked to an Indian call centre claiming to be Amazon. They kept saying there was some £900 payment issue and wanted me to give them access to my account to fix it! It wasn’t one of those automated messages, but real people with Indian accents who sounded like they were just reading from a script. I reckon since people have been ignoring the usual "press 1" recordings and blocking those numbers, they’ve switched up their style and started using lots of new numbers to try and trick folks.
