Got a call from an Asian guy claiming something about CAB and that I had loans that weren't secured. I listened to him for a bit before telling him that CAB don’t do cold calls. He then said he never mentioned CAB at all. I just ended the call after that.

Got a call from some guy who said he was in a taxi, claimed there was a row with my partner that went on for like 5 minutes. Felt totally dodgy, definitely a scam.

Around 15 minutes ago, I got a call from an Asian bloke saying he was from some cab company, telling me the government changed the rules about writing off debts and that my credit card and loan debts have been handed to them. I told him I never had credit cards and my finances are under control. I then said I thought it was a scam, and right away he just hung up. I'm really upset about this - especially since I’ve just had major surgery and am about to start chemo. It’s disgusting people do stuff like this, and the government really needs to crack down on these scams harder.

Some bloke with an Asian accent rang me up saying I owed money. When I asked him who I supposedly owed, he just cut me off and ended the call.

some guy rang me sayin he was a credit adviser or sumthin, sounded like an asian bloke. i asked him why he was botherin me cos my debts are small and nothing to worry about. we ended up going back and forth for like 4 mins about where he got my info from, he got annoyed in the end. told him to stop ringin me, been gettin at least one call every day for two weeks now.

Got a call from some guy, sounded Asian and said his name was Peter, claiming he was from citizens advice about my big debts. When I told him the CAB never phones you out of the blue, he started swearing at me and just slammed the phone down!
