Got a text with a one-time code saying I paid £175.92 to Aviva, but I didn't make that purchase. The message asked me to ring 01223969921 and quote a reference number. I dialled the number, and soon after, a very courteous bloke phoned back, saying he worked for the Fraud Team covering several UK banks. However, he said he couldn’t share any transaction details until I handed over my info. I just ended the call straight away.
