I got a call from a lady saying she was with Amazon, asking if I’d bought an expensive iPad, supposedly worth a few hundred quid. She said the order was on hold until they confirmed it was mine. I told her I hadn’t ordered anything. She kept repeating the question, asking if I wanted to carry on with the order. I kept telling her no, multiple times. I enjoy wasting scam callers’ time like this. In the end, I hung up. I tried to ring back to check, but it wouldn’t go through.
