I thought my mate sent me a new number so I gave it a ring, but it didn’t even ring out - ended up just disconnecting straight away. Didn’t answer but somehow it drained all my phone credit! I noticed a message from Giffgaff saying my balance was completely gone, which was really odd because I had tried to buy a goody bag just before, but the purchase wouldn’t go through. The weird thing is the number uses a Giffgaff prefix 077430...95778 which looks almost identical to my own number. Something dodgy is definitely going on here, so watch out for calls like this!
