Got a weird text from this number, just said hi. Also noticed a couple of strange charges on my credit card recently. Could be nothing, but feels a bit fishy to me.

Got a call today from this number claiming to be from Amazon’s Fraud team. They asked if I’d purchased a mobile phone recently and wanted me to verify or cancel the order. I told them I hadn’t ordered anything and wanted it cancelled. Then they sent me a one-time password (OTP) through a message that appeared to come from Amazon’s usual number. It looked pretty convincing. Just a heads up, Amazon never asks for OTPs or any personal info over the phone, so be wary of calls like this. I’ve already reported it to Amazon for them to check out.
