Got a call from this number a couple of days back. The person said they were from Sky, saying there was a problem with our broadband or our machine. I told them to ring back when my husband was in, but the caller insisted on having a quick look to see if they could spot the issue. Since I’m on mental health leave and a bit foggy, I didn’t think straight. They ended up emptying our overdraft and even tried to withdraw from my savings. Luckily, the bank managed to block the transactions in time.
