I just got a message that appeared to be from the NHS, claiming that I've been in close proximity to someone infected with Omicron. It urged me to click on a link to request a testing kit. I'm quite convinced this is a scam!

They called saying I'd been near someone with covid, then sent me a link to some scanning page. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a text telling me my parcel's being sent back to the local depot and asking me to schedule a new delivery with a link. Thing is, I wasn’t expecting anything at all. Definitely a scam!

Got a strange text from this number claiming I'd been near someone with Omicron and telling me to get a test kit from a link. I’m pretty sure I haven’t been anywhere near anyone like that. When I clicked the link, it asked for a bunch of personal details. The giveaway it was a con was when the site told me to report my positive result to NHS England - but I don’t even live there! Definitely dodgy.
