I engaged the services of a builder who took £11,000 from me, under the impression that he was affiliated with a company called Roofstyle Roofing Solutions Ltd, whose number is prominently displayed across their website. When I confronted the builder, Robert, he claimed it was simply a mistake and insisted he's not connected to that company, stating his actual trade name is AY Roofing. Since then, I've attempted to reach out via texts and calls, but he’s been entirely unresponsive! Is it remotely possible that 02 has mistakenly assigned duplicate telephone numbers to different individuals or entities? I'm starting to feel like I may have fallen victim to a scam!
