I recently had an unexpected phone call claiming to be from the Amazon fraud department, insisting that I had placed an order for an Apple iPhone through my Amazon account. When I clarified that I don’t actually possess an Amazon account, the caller accused me of being dishonest on two occasions. Quite unbelievable, really!
