I received a message that said something like: “EE rewards program wants to tell you: As a valued customer, we’re giving you some free points. They’ll expire in 3 working days, so click the link below to claim your prizes! [LINK HERE] Safe travels from EE!” Obviously, it’s a dodgy scam trying to make you rush and grab something for nothing. What’s more, I don’t even have EE as my network. Over the last fortnight, I’ve gotten roughly 8 messages like this, each from different UK phone numbers.
