Got a call just before 9 in the morning and it took ages to actually link up - that’s usually a trap. Then I heard this weird robotic American lady telling me some nonsense about a fine from HMRC ‘cause I supposedly didn’t reply to a letter I never even got. Seriously, why on earth would HMRC use an American accent? Total scam. Blocked the number straight away. 🚫
