Got a call from some woman who sounded like she was in a noisy call centre or a busy market. She acted like she was familiar with me but didn’t actually use my name. Ended up blocking the number.

Got a call from some IT firm out of the blue. They already knew my name which was a bit creepy, so I reckon they must’ve grabbed my number from somewhere. I switched over to GoDaddy about a month ago, and after digging around, it turns out they probably share your info. Not cool at all!

A company rang me about installing a Smart meter since they were working nearby. I wasn’t keen, so I said no thanks. The woman was quite polite, apologised for disturbing me, and then we ended the call nicely.

I’d been browsing online for a mobile, so I put my details in one of those forms, and next thing I knew, they rang me up to help sort out the purchase.
