I got a message from this number (07741 288999) claiming to be Barclays, asking me to confirm if I made three purchases by replying Y or N. I hadn’t made any. I called Barclays straight away, and they told me they hadn't sent the message. So, I replied to the text with an N. Shortly after, I received a phone call from +44 208 040 4768. A woman on the line said she knew I’d reported potential fraud and said she’d assist me in securing my account. When I mentioned I was recording the call because I’d already talked to Barclays, she suddenly hung up! Stay careful out there!
