Received a call from some bloke in India claiming to work for a government debt help service. He was pushing me to sign up for some kind of IVA and kept threatening that he’d get in touch with my creditors and bankrupt me! Proper scare tactics to try and shove their offer down your throat. He wouldn’t say what company he was with and the number’s dead when you try calling back! Best thing to do is just hang up or mess with them a bit without handing over any info - the caller’s name was mohammed.

Some bloke called claiming he was from a government scheme and asked about my bank details. When I told him I wasn’t going to talk about that stuff on the phone, he just hung up on me. Bit strange if you ask me!

Had a call from some bloke named Zak who said he was with Credit Investigations, but he got cut off and never rang me back or even left a voicemail. Really annoying!

Someone rang claiming to be from some credit investigations, said his name was Sak. The call dropped, and when he rang me back, he ended up calling the wrong number. Quite strange, really. Caller showed as Credit Investigations.

Got three calls all on the same day from some bloke claiming to be from a finance tracking place. Sounds really fishy to me. Caller ID just showed unknown.

A guy with an Asian accent rang me claiming he was from the citizens advice bureau. He started asking about my credit card and loan payments. I told him I don’t have any of those. Before I could even question how he got my number or why he was calling from a cellphone, he just hung up on me.
