I got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, saying my certificate needed updating. They somehow got remote access to my PC and then asked for my bank information. After that, they locked me out of my computer and shoved all my personal files into the recycle bin. Luckily, I turned off my computer quick enough to recover most of them. They were really pushy and sounded legit, but honestly, it was so dodgy and risky.
