I got a call from someone claiming to be from BT saying there’s been issues with our broadband speed dropping while online. The guy’s accent sounded foreign, which was a bit suspicious. When I asked where he was calling from, he hesitated and then said 81 Newgate Street, London. To my knowledge, BT moved out of that building years ago. Feels like this call could be dodgy, so be careful and mark it as possibly unsafe.
