Got a call from a number claiming to be Visa. They said there were charges of £900 and £700 that needed confirmation, and then they just ended the call.

So on Monday the 5th of June, around 5pm in the East Anglia region, I got a call I couldn’t pick up. I rang back straight away but there was no reply, just a message saying the voicemail was full or something. What a pointless bother!

When they called, I never got a clear idea of why they were ringing. They started reading out my info like they already knew it, but never actually asked if it was right. Felt really pushy and quite intimidating. Definitely not someone I want to deal with again. Blocked for safety.

If you put your info in to claim it, you’ll end up on their call list. These scammers ring people repeatedly every day, trying to gather enough personal details for identity theft. They cycle through phone numbers fast since people keep blocking and reporting them. This kind of behaviour isn’t what a genuine company does, so don’t pick up or share anything if they call.
