Got a call from 07740559092 earlier today, looks like a cellphone. When the call came through with 077, I assumed it was someone I know. The lady on the line said she was calling from British Telecom and mentioned a 35% discount on my bill, even used my name! I was a bit suspicious and asked why BT hadn’t sent me any email about this offer. Then, I said I’d ring BT myself to check if it was true. Suddenly, she just ended the call.
