I got a call from someone named "Rose," who said she was from BT. The day before, she tried ringing me from another number (07701366974), but the call dropped. She launched into the familiar spiel about hackers breaching my computer. I thought I’d humour her for a bit and follow along. She asked me to open the Windows event viewer, where I saw lots of errors - pretty standard stuff really. Then she wanted me to install Anydesk so she could supposedly fix the problems, but I knew that would give her remote access. That’s when I told her I wasn’t falling for it and ended the call.
