Got a call from a bloke named Robert using this number, said he was ringing from Energy Homes about grants for things like double glazing and insulation. He mentioned he was based in Margate, Kent. When I asked how he got hold of our landline, he said I musta agreed to something before, but I’m super cautious about who I share my details with. It didn’t seem right when he claimed they were contacting everyone in the CT14 area. Could I be a bit paranoid to think he just said Margate because it’s within about 30 miles from where we live?

I picked up the phone but heard nothing from the other side after answering.

Kept getting this annoying call again and again, some sales guy trying to push insulation stuff. Really irritating how persistent they were.

Got a call from someone offering to swap out my windows and insulation, said there was a gov grant to help pay for it. Sounded a bit fishy to me.

Got a call with someone speaking in a clear American accent, saying thanks for renewing my Amazon Prime and claiming they took £79.99 from my bank. Thing is, I don’t even have Prime, so it’s obviously a scam. Got hit with 3 calls like this yesterday and couple more today. One of the numbers even showed up as an International call. Definitely dodgy.
