Some bloke rang saying he was from Amazon, asking if I was fine with a £499 charge on my card. He said he’d send me a code and told me to put my phone on speaker while I clicked a link. I thanked him and said I’d check my account myself. He insisted I wouldn’t see the charge because it was on hold. I told him I wasn’t clicking any links and that my bank would block anything dodgy. He kept saying the payment wouldn’t appear anywhere since it wasn’t authorised. I just ended the call there.
