Got a call from someone claiming to be from the "refund department," started off by asking if I was “Anthony Fox”. When I asked who they were, they just dived right into saying I was owed some refund. At one point, I said, “I never said I was Anthony Fox,” but they got even more pushy and kept calling me Anthony, even after I made it clear I wasn’t him. Proper annoying.

Got a call from 07738 885961 today, 1st December 2016. A man said he was from the UK and told me I had a credit card I’d paid off but was apparently due a refund of £1246. When I asked which company he was representing, he only said he was from the UK. Pressed him again about the firm and he muttered something about a PPI claims service. Then he tried to get me to confirm if I had a credit card with a specific bank. I wouldn’t give details and he called me an idiot before hanging up. The caller was a bloke with an African accent. Watch out for this one!
