Got a call from some woman with an American accent saying there’s a tax evasion case going before a magistrate. She said to press 1 if I want to avoid going to prison. Sounded like a total scam to me, but I can see how it might scare some folks who don’t know better. When I tried ringing back, it just said the number wasn’t recognised. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
