I got a call about joining some company for work, but they said I'd have to pay £50 if I wasn't already a member, or £10 if I was. Seems odd to me since you shouldn’t have to pay just to get a job. When I told them I wasn’t up for becoming a customer, the person on the phone just laughed at me, which felt pretty disrespectful. So yeah, I ended the call right then.
