Got a call on my landline, it went straight to voicemail. When I played it back, the message sounded like it was trying to make you think you’d missed the start. It mentioned some dodgy charges on my card for £199 from Amazon and about £899 from somewhere that sounded like Boots. Then it told me to press either option 1 or 2. Seemed fishy to me, especially since they didn’t leave any number to call back if you couldn’t press the options. Plus, no legit card company would call from a mobile number like that. Definitely a scam.

Got a call from a number saying they were from my bank. They told me my card was used twice, once for £199 at Amazon, and another time £899 to some overseas bank. Then they told me to press any key to speak to a rep. I just ended the call straight away and blocked the number - definitely a scam.
