Today I got a call from a woman, but honestly, I couldn’t make out what she was saying because her Indian accent was really thick.

I got a call about some scheme to help homeowners cut their electricity bills. But I don’t own a home, I rent, so it wasn’t useful for me at all. Plus, I’m registered on the Do Not Call list, so they really shouldn’t be ringing me up in the first place.

Had a chat with a bloke about some car warranty the other day. He was pretty cheeky, kept pushing the deal - said it was £100 upfront and then there's a monthly fee. I tried to be nice and said no thanks, but he just kept dropping the initial cost, going all the way down to £25 plus the monthly payment. I just told him thanks but no and hung up.
