It was just all too much to deal with.

They say they can get back money that was supposedly stolen from me online. Don’t believe it or share your details with them. Just mess around a bit and waste their time instead.

We got a call from someone with a Middle Eastern accent, claiming he could help us get back money we’d supposedly lost. He kept pushing the same story over and over, really insistent about the missing cash. We warned him a few times we suspected this was a scam, but he just wouldn’t drop it. Also, he refused outright to give us a proper work number. Later on, after looking up the number ourselves, he got pretty rude, swearing at us and even telling us to "take some pills". Still, not once did he provide a genuine work contact.
