Got a robo call telling me there was some tax fraud issue with my details, and it just cut off when I tried to respond. Pretty clear it was dodgy.

I picked up the phone just for a laugh. Some dodgy HMRC scammer said there’s a warrant for my arrest over fraud and told me to press 1 to get more details. I just ended the call straight away. If it was really HMRC, I reckon they'd be banging on my door by now!

Today I got a call from this number, and the first thing I heard was a recorded message about some sort of tax fraud case being looked into with my name. Then when the call got picked up and I told them my name, they just cut me off and ended the call. Quite strange.

Got a recorded message from a woman’s voice telling me I’m being looked into by HMRC for dodging tax and to ring them back on a mobile number. When I called back, it was some Asian call centre just trying to scam people. Total rip-off alert!

I got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, saying there's a fraud case against me and they said there’s a warrant out for my arrest. They told me to press 1 or I’d get arrested. It’s awful how these scammers prey on people, especially the elderly who might panic and press the button. People are so worried about debts these days. Seriously, something needs to be done to stop this nonsense.
