I got a call on my landline from a woman saying my Amazon account was charged £120 for Nike trainers. She told me to get in touch with Amazon support if I hadn’t made the purchase. So I rang Amazon on my mobile, but they kept saying my postcode was incorrect. The lady on the phone definitely had the right postcode though, and she couldn’t confirm if my account had been hacked. Made me wonder if she might actually be involved in some kind of scam herself...
