I reckon every time a real person answers one of those dodgy calls, you should just blow a whistle right into the phone. It’s oddly satisfying and makes those nuisance calls a bit more bearable!

This number popped up on my phone a while ago, no voicemail or anything left which was odd. Then I noticed a number really close to it calling me too not long ago, so I’m guessing it's from the same sales lot? I’m not gonna ring back though as I haven’t got a clue who it is - might just be some automated spam call trying to see if my phone’s active.

Got a voicemail saying they wanted to know if I owed more than a certain amount and could manage paying 80 quid a month. I don’t have any debts at all, so just another annoying call.

Yesterday, my phone rang with this number showing up. The moment I caught the automated voice asking about owing money, I hung up straight away. Wish I’d caught the name of the company to let someone know about them.

How do these sites even get hold of our numbers? Just yesterday I was looking into a debt consolidation loan on one price comparison website and guess what, the very next day this number rings me up. This happened before too, last year with life insurance, and oddly it was from the same comparison site. Never using that site again, can’t trust it at all.

I chose not to pick up this call, but it seems likely it’s either something related to debt collection or perhaps a telemarketer buzzing about car accidents.
