The caller had a proper Liverpool accent like they were from some official body. They mentioned they needed to tell me about an accident and even knew my car’s registration.

Picked up the phone and some bloke said he was from a firm dealing with accident claims. Told him to take me off their list, but he reckoned the call had to be made. I wasn’t exactly polite after that, told him that was their issue and hung up. Then he called me back three more times! Gonna report the company to the OIC for sure.

I received a rather curious call stating I’d had an accident back in June, which is complete nonsense. They hung up abruptly and then attempted to ring me again. So, I’ve gone ahead and blocked their number.

Has anyone else received calls from this number purporting to be from the motor insurance bureau? It's quite frustrating as you can't return the call; it just diverts to a giffgaff voicemail.
