The caller had a proper Liverpool accent like they were from some official body. They mentioned they needed to tell me about an accident and even knew my car’s registration.

Picked up the phone and some bloke said he was from a firm dealing with accident claims. Told him to take me off their list, but he reckoned the call had to be made. I wasn’t exactly polite after that, told him that was their issue and hung up. Then he called me back three more times! Gonna report the company to the OIC for sure.

They rang me saying I’d been in an accident back in June, which is completely untrue. Then they hung up and tried dialing me again. I’ve blocked their number now.

Has anyone else been getting calls from this number sayin they're with the motor insurance bureau? Whenever I try calling back, it just ends up with some random voicemail or something, no real way to get through. Proper annoying!
