Earlier today around 1:46 pm, I got a call from a number saying it was HM Revenue and Customs about some unpaid tax. As soon as I picked up, there was this robotic voice telling me I owed money and might get prosecuted or even sent to jail. Then, when someone finally came on the line, they straight away demanded my full name. I refused and questioned how they even got my phone number. That’s when they just hung up on me! Definitely a big warning sign!
