I reckon this might be a scam. From what I understand, Visa or Mastercard usually mention the name of the card issuer, not a phone number that’s a UK mobile. Seems a bit fishy to me.

I answered the phone but stayed silent, then after a bit, a recorded voice came on claiming to be from Visa or Mastercard or something, saying there was an attempt to use my card for over £800. It told me to hit 1 if I wanted to talk to someone about it. I just ended the call straight away and sent the number off to 7726 to report it.
