Got a phone call earlier today from someone claiming to be from my bank. They said there were two payments - one £300 to Amazon and another one for £1300 that was a bank transfer. They asked if I'd actually done these payments. The number that popped up on my mobile was 07435088596.

The number kept ringing non-stop, and it definitely seemed like a call centre from India. They told me I was being charged for two Amazon Prime accounts, one monthly and one annual. Then they tried to get me to install some app to cancel the yearly one. When I refused, the person on the other end got a bit sharp and just dropped the call.
