Got a text with some horse racing tips for Saturday, which was totally out of the blue since I’ve never even placed a bet before. Ended up blocking the number straight away…

Got a missed call but no voicemail left. So, I tried ringing back - no luck. Later, a lady rang me up saying something like "A horse for Saturday" which I reckon is one of those racing tips scams, probably linked to LM Racing or the like. I asked how they got my digits, and she claimed I’d signed up to some Racing Club. Never asked them to take my number off their list though.
