Had a dodgy call from someone who clearly had no clue what they were doing. At first, nothing but silence, then all of a sudden background noise like a hectic call centre kicked in. Still no chat from the caller, so I asked him to get on with it and start his spiel! He sounded like he was reading from a script and froze when I asked things he hadn’t rehearsed yet. Yep, the old Amazon subscription trick. Called him out on it straight away and he hung up fast, number now blocked.
