The link they sent takes you to a dodgy site that looks like hmrc.gov but is actually rebate-site-gb[###], and it’s connected to a couple more fake sites pretending to be Paypal and the Three mobile network. Seriously, don’t click on it or you’ll be in trouble.

Got a call claiming to be from HMRC yet again... Surely it’s common knowledge by now that HMRC wouldn’t ever ring you directly like this. They always make you verify things through their official online portal! Total scam.

Got a text supposedly from 'Paypal' saying I needed to click a link to unlock my account. Don’t fall for it! If you think something’s off, ring them back but from another number, maybe ask to set up a meeting or tell them you’re onto them and getting ready to strike back!!!
