Please don’t just delete these messages. Instead, forward them to '[email protected]'. After that, block the sender and then delete the email, as it’s clearly a phishing attempt. This official body handles these types of scams and will take the necessary steps to stop these crooks from tricking vulnerable people. I really urge you to take a moment to forward every scam email you get. The police’s site for reporting scam calls has been down since lockdown, but there’s no excuse not to report scam emails.

I received an email telling me I had a missed call supposedly from a contact in my phone. When I checked, that person wasn’t actually on my list. Seemed really dodgy to me, so I'm pretty sure it's a scam.

I came across this Lisa Murray Degisi person - quite the scammer, if you ask me. Just check out her Facebook page, she's flaunting a massive house and fancy cars, but there's no way any of that came from honest earnings. Definitely dodgy stuff.

Got a call from someone I don’t know, then an email popped in saying this number was saved in my contacts. Didn’t open the attachment, just went ahead and deleted the message straight away.

If you get any dodgy emails, you’re meant to send them to ‘[email protected]’. I used to send all the scam emails I got to the nfib, but now they’ve switched it up with this new system, just for emails though. For scam phone calls, the police ‘action fraud’ page is still down for reporting numbers, which is a right pain!
