Got a message off this number saying they were my son. Pretty weird!

However, I can't help but think that some parents might get stressed and fall for it.

Received a call from this number claiming to be NHS Test & Trace, saying I’d been near someone with COVID. They told me to order a test kit using a link they sent. I got suspicious, thinking the test might cost money, so I didn’t click the link. I’m sure if any friends or family were at risk, they’d have told me themselves. Also, most cafes and restaurants hardly do any check-ins these days, so I doubt this call was legitimate. Just be careful and don’t get caught out by this scam.

They sent it at an unholy hour of 4:18 in the morning, and let's be honest - the posties aren't typically out that early delivering packages around here. We usually expect them between 9 and midday, and our security cameras didn't catch sight of anyone either. Quite the amusing mix-up, isn't it? 😂🙈
