Got a message off this number saying they were my son. Pretty weird!

Since my kids were right there with me, I instantly saw it was dodgy. Still, I reckon some parents might freak out and fall for this kind of thing.

Received a call from this number claiming to be NHS Test & Trace, saying I’d been near someone with COVID. They told me to order a test kit using a link they sent. I got suspicious, thinking the test might cost money, so I didn’t click the link. I’m sure if any friends or family were at risk, they’d have told me themselves. Also, most cafes and restaurants hardly do any check-ins these days, so I doubt this call was legitimate. Just be careful and don’t get caught out by this scam.

So, they said they were from the post office about a parcel they couldn't deliver today because apparently no one was home. Thing is, they said they tried at like 4:18 in the morning, and I seriously doubt the post office is making rounds that early (our usual delivery window is more like 9 to noon). Plus, nothing showed up on our security cameras to back that up 😂🙈
