Got a call from someone saying they were with the UK Government Pensions dept, but had a thick Indian accent. Asked to speak to the duty manager, which I did. Then I asked where they got my number from, and suddenly they started shouting in Hindi at me. Tried ringing back, but it came up as an 02 voicemail number. Seems like a scam to me.

picked up the phone and some one with a really thick indian accent claimed they were from the uk pension service. i had to ask them to say it again a few times coz i couldnt understand properly. when i asked for a contact number to ring back, they started being rude and then just ended the call. definitely feels like one of those scams.
