I got a call from a bloke about some car warranty thing. He was pretty rude and kept saying I had to pay £100 upfront plus a monthly fee. I said no thanks nicely, but he just kept dropping the upfront cost, finally saying £25 down and the monthly payments. I just hung up after that.

Got a text saying "BARCLAYS: Your OTP is 038211 for a 564.45 GBP payment at CURRYS - Ref: UK87665H. If you didn’t make this, contact our fraud dept on 0330 165 4377." Definitely a scam!

I got a call like that as well and thought it was dodgy. Chatted with Barclays quickly and yep, it turned out to be a scam!

Got a message saying BARCLAYS sent me a one-time code 038211 for a 564.45GBP payment to CURRYS with ref UK87665H. Didn’t make this payment at all. They want me to ring their fraud dept on 0330 165 4377. Definately a dodgy scam, be warned!
