I got a call from a bloke about some car warranty thing. He was pretty rude and kept saying I had to pay £100 upfront plus a monthly fee. I said no thanks nicely, but he just kept dropping the upfront cost, finally saying £25 down and the monthly payments. I just hung up after that.

What a dodgy scam! Just received a text claiming to be from BARCLAYS, stating, "Your One Time Passcode is 038211 for a payment of £564.45 to CURRYS - Ref: UK87665H. If this isn't you, ring our fraud squad on 0330 165 4377." Definitely looks like a scam to me!

Received a call from this number as well. Seemed dodgy to me, so I had a natter with Barclays and they verified it's all a scam.
