I’ve just reported this to Action Fraud. Got a dodgy text claiming to be from Lloyds, saying someone tried to link my account to a new gadget with a link to a phishing website. The funny thing is, I’ve never even had a Lloyds account! Make sure you let Action Fraud know if you get this, and tell your family to watch out for scams like this. People who target old or vulnerable folks deserve everything bad that happens to them.
