Got a text from EE saying there’s some issue with my payment and telling me to get in touch to fix it. I already have direct debits set up with them, so I logged into my account and nothing was wrong. Definitely just a scam. Don’t fall for these kinds of texts - always check your actual account before doing anything.

On Friday, 6th March, I got a text from this number saying there was a problem processing my EE bill and that I should update my payment info using a link they sent. I didn’t click it though, instead I logged into my EE account myself. All my bills have been paid through direct debit to the same bank account for years, and nothing is overdue. So, I’m pretty sure this was a scam trying to trick me.
