Got a robocall saying that £799 had been charged on my VISA from Amazon. Total scam alert!! Don’t fall for it, it's a fraud!

I couldn’t make out a single thing they were saying.

They had some kind of foreign accent and just spoke so quickly I couldn’t catch a single word. I’ve already blocked the number, but somehow they keep getting through. If it happens again, I’m definitely ringing my phone company to see how they’re managing to bypass the block.

Kept ringin but just dropped the call as soon as I picked up. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent who said they were from Consumer First. They started asking me a load of nonsense questions. I asked where they got my phone number from, and they said it must be publicly available. I told them that’s not true since my number is private. I told them to never call me again and to remove my number from their database.

Got called by this number twice today and a few times yesterday, super annoying! Looked it up here and decided to just block it.

Got a call from a number where they just stayed quiet for half a minute, then suddenly started babbling nonsense. Definitely a scam, so I’ve blocked it straight away.

Got a call from 07733 -262216, the bloke on the other end wasn’t very clear and sounded like English wasn’t his native tongue, maybe not even his second. I reckon he was trying to do one of those customer survey calls for some company. I couldn’t make out what he was asking properly so I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.
