We're completely stumped as to who might be calling, but it seems likely they’re from a business or something similar.

I received the same "someone you know..." text at precisely 18:21 on the 13th of July, 2008. I naturally suspected it was a scam and chose not to respond. I'm curious if anyone has any insights into how they select the numbers of recipients. It feels incredibly intrusive and likely breaches the Data Protection Act, if you ask me.

We received a text at 4:06 PM and chose to completely disregard it, thinking it was likely a scam. I’m fairly certain we’ve encountered something similar previously, which we also brushed off. Not everyone is gullible, right? However, I was curious enough to look up the number, hence my message here.

I've received this peculiar ring along with a plethora of other mysterious 'generous' acts-gifts, blooms, the works. Naturally, this led me to believe there’s a connection, but it all seems like an elaborate ruse. We’re keen to uncover the identity behind this. As I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, I really shouldn't be receiving these sorts of communications at all. I’ll be lodging a report about it.

I feel compelled to voice a serious complaint about a text message we received around 2:58 PM regarding renewing our wedding vows. My partner is insistent on finding out who sent this message, and the timing has been nothing short of dreadful. My mother is currently unwell, and I couldn’t help but fear the worst upon receiving such an alarming message. It’s utterly appalling to send a text like this to anyone, and the turmoil and anxiety it has caused is truly unacceptable. We’re considering reporting this to OFCOM or OFTEL.

Received a text message claiming that someone I know has a crush on me. To identify who, I should reply with "WHO" to the message. Sounds suspicious to me! It appears to be a typical number, but I'm concerned these folks might hit me with some pricey premium rate texts down the line. Best to be cautious!
