I was trying to sell a dolls house on Gumtree when someone got in touch. The number’s different, but seems very much like what people here have reported. They used a woman named Penny’s photo on their WhatsApp and sent me pictures of little girls with their feet visible. Then they oddly asked if their daughter should wear 15 denier tights beneath her trousers given the current weather. Really weird and made me uncomfortable. I’ve reported it already.

17.12.14 Got a message from some guy named Terry about mens clothes I had up for sale on Gumtree. He asked how old I was and said he wanted to have a chat. When I asked why, he just said he wanted to talk. I told him straight up to take my number off his phone right now, and he said something like “You seem nice, I’ll delete your number, cheers.” I've gone ahead and blocked him now.

I decided to mess with him a bit and said I was 14, and suddenly he was super interested, even asking if I was a virgin. I’ve reported him to the police.
