This chap, who goes by the name Chris and fancies himself as a builder, seems to prey on the older generation. He convinces them to part with their cash, gets a tiny portion of the work underway, and then suddenly vanishes, leaving behind a trail of excuses while totally ignoring any calls or messages you might send. If he spots your number, he won't even pick up. Voicemails are met with silence, too. He'll answer calls from unknown numbers, but be warned; he turns quite hostile once he figures out who's on the other end. Getting back any money he took under false pretences looks like an impossibility. Really quite disheartening, to say the least.

This individual purports to be a self-employed builder but seems to have a rather unscrupulous approach, particularly towards the elderly. He requests payment for various construction jobs, yet fails to follow through, leaving the work unfinished. Attempts to reach out and settle matters are met with total disregard; he avoids taking calls from known numbers. Interestingly, when you ring from an unfamiliar number, he picks up but is often rude and ends the call abruptly. Overall, his conduct is far from professional. It’s quite likely that he’s engaging in less than honest practices.
