Got a call from a very convincing English lady claiming it was a free fire and safety service. She mentioned all the gear was complimentary, just a small monthly fee for the service itself. Seems like a total scam to me, watch out!

Someone rang up saying that security reps were nearby handing out free alarm systems because crime around here has gone up. I told them we were all sorted and didn’t need anything. Then I asked if they were trying to sell something, and she got really nasty, yelling that I was impolite! Feels like a total con to me. Now I’m thinking maybe they try to get people to agree to something where any alarm alerts automatically go to the police or emergency services.

Got a call from someone saying they're part of a "Crime and Fire Prevention Campaign," claiming to be a security advisor nearby. Couldn't find anything about them online. When I asked for proof of who they really were or the company they worked for, they just refused to answer. Then, after I tried to check they're legit, they rudely told me to "f*** off" and ended the call. Pretty clear scammer to me.
