Got a message from someone pretending to be my dad saying his phone was busted and to WhatsApp him on a different number. Total scam since my dad passed away ages ago.

It wasn’t a phone call, just one of those scam texts. The message started with "Hi mum/dad, this is my new number," but I don’t have any children at all. Best thing to do is just ignore it and get rid of the message.
